Activities

This retreat is all about enjoying yourself with activities you can do with your dog. From the excitement of agility to a gentle bush walk – you’re invited to make this your weekend away.

Thursday 13 September

Check in to your accommodation and orientate yourself with the beautiful surrounds of this retreat, or just sit back and relax on the verandah with your dog.

In the late afternoon come and register and collect your badge and goody bag for the weekend. And then join us for a relaxed and casual dinner and meet the Camp K9 team and other dogs and their owners over a few drinks. We’ll also have a short ‘Getting to Know Your Dog and its Body Language’ session so you can maximise your weekend of fun for you and your dog.

Friday & Saturday

There’ll be a whole range of activities organised that you can participate in – from fast-paced agility, new dog sports like Canine Freestyle & Noseworks… to relaxing bush walks and swims in the river…to fun and interactive workshops… to interesting and thought provoking seminars… there’s something at Camp K9 for everyone and their dog.

Then at the end of each day relax with a few drinks, dinner and a get together with all of the trainers, speakers and practitioners. Dr Michael Kidd, a Sydney-based vet will also join us to answer all your pooch-related health questions.

Sunday 16 September

Relax over a leisurely breakfast before joining in the final few activities of the weekend before packing up your exhausted pooch around lunchtime for the drive back home and a welldeserved afternoon nap.

Please note that activities and times on the weekend may be subject to change due to weather or scheduling issues. The organisers reserve this right for health and safety and will notify all participants in advance. Regardless of weather the event will go ahead.
